Trespassing Yorkie escapes shotgun fire Riverside, Ca- A Riverside man was arrested Thursday, August 17, for firing a shotgun at his neighbor’s dog. Riverside Police officers responded to a complaint of shots fired shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday, near the corner of the 12000-block of Indiana Avenue and Capriole Road in the southwest corner of the city of Riverside. A woman complained that her neighbor had fired two shotgun blasts at her dog, a small Yorkshire terrier, as the dog fled from the neighbor’s yard. The dog had apparently been disturbing chickens the neighbor maintains in his yard. Frederick Richard CHANDLER, 57, was contacted by telephone and he exited his house unarmed. A 12-gauge shotgun was recovered inside. Chandler was arrested for negligent discharge of a firearm and booked into Robert Presley Detention Center. |
