Riverside, Ca- On September 30, 2005 at approximately 0220 hours Riverside Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Van Buren and Dufferin regarding a subject who had been shot and discovered by a passerby. Officers were able to get preliminary information regarding a named suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital and underwent surgery for his wounds and is listed in critical condition.

Riverside Police Officers followed up on information and responded to an address on Corwin Street in the City of Riverside. They saw the suspect who was driving away from a residence and stopped and arrested him without incident.

Suspect: Pablo Arellano / 47 years of age

Riverside Police Department Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The suspect has been booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for 664/187 PC – Attempt Murder.
