"SPARK OF LOVE" TOY DRIVE

The City of Riverside Fire Department will once again join KABC 7 for the 19th annual "Spark of Love" Toy Drive. This campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sporting equipment for the under-served children in our communities. Last year alone, "Spark of Love" collected over half a million toys within all five Southern California counties and 7,500 were collected here in the City of Riverside. Read More...

The City of Riverside Government Channel will broadcast the 19th Annual Festival of Lights switch-on ceremony live Nov. 25.

The channel will break into the channel’s regular Friday night schedule at 5 p.m. The switch-on ceremony is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.

City PSA receives international marketing award

Two City of Riverside Government TV public service announcements recently won prestigious Association of Marketing and Communication (MarCom) Awards.

A gold award went to a 30-second PSA advising pet owners to spay or neuter their dogs and cats. Another city entry highlighting the move of passport services to a new location won an honorable mention in the PSA category.

For the fourth year in a row, the City of Riverside has been chosen for a Smart21 Communities Award, which recognizes the top 21 tech-savvy cities worldwide.
